Preserving intimate moments or beautiful views has always been one of Arev’s passions, while Mathias gets the technical stuff but still struggles with the right framing. Street-photography, landscape, portraits or architecture there will be plenty. We both want to further develope our photography skills and bring a powerful tool to our trip.
Equipped with our new Sony A7C full-frame camera and a Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 zoom-lens we want to catch a lot of extraordinary shots.
Arev’s main interest has been filming for many years. Mathias volunteered as the producer of a series of cinematic ads for the Fridays For Future grassroots movement in 2019 and enjoyed it. It is only natural that we will make videography the centrepiece of our world tour.
We will bring you regular video logs about our trip and how it affects us. On occasion, we will take a couple of days to produce some documentary shorts that focus on people, places and culture we meet on our journey.
Additionally to our full-frame camera, we’ll take a GoPro Hero 8 Black action camera and a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone with us.
This trip is all about memories. Even though we’ll live a modest life from a purely materialistic perspective, we will gather so many rich experiences, valuable know-how and life-lessons from all the struggle we will face on the road and people we meet.
To get all those impressions sorted out, we will write diaries and record audio memos. This way, we can organise our minds and eventually, share our development and adventures in detail with you!
